It can be difficult to see though when there is not much light, something
which requires frequent use of the viewfinder display button (and further
battery drain?). I still have a copy of a Swedish photo magazine from the
mid 80´s with a test of OM-2SP. The remark about the viewfinder display was
that the window where light is entered for the viewfinder display should
have been placed somewhat higher, this because most light usually comes from
above. I think this window is placed better on OM-3/OM-4 right?
Although I´ve only experience with OM-1/OM-2/OM-2SP I agree that OM-2SP is
also my favourite OM. My battery problems seems to be non-existent since I
started to use 357 batteries, although I havent yet tested it in the cold
this winter. The new 2-13 screen is a delight and is well recommended for
all Om-2S/P/ users (however few).
BTW, it´s nice to be online again and back on the list after months of
computer problems...
