A somewhat more happy example:
I faxed R.Gunz Photographic (the Olympus distributor in Australia) on
a Friday afternoon, asking if they could help me to obtain an OM-1
manual, mentioning that Olympus America recommended them to me.
I didn't ask for a manual, but simply if they were able to provide
them.
A photocopied OM-1 manual arrived at my office in Brisbane (over
1000km from Gunz' Sydney office) on Monday morning.
Now that's service!
