Yes, John's post describing Olympus Digital Photography marketing drive

Late last year I picked up a copy of "The Olympus Pursuit" Vol16 No.2
1997 which is a quarterly forum "For Olympus people worldwide".

Interestingly, the cover story features the OM4Ti used on a recent
expidition to the Antarctic. The photographer in question packed no
less than five OM4Ti, and two XA compacts on the trip! When the extreme
cold became a problem the photographer would swap a fresh OM out of his
heated pack to use as long as the batteries held out and judging by the
photographs, they held out spectacularly.

High praise was heaped on the functionality and durabilty of the OM4Ti
throughout the article.
The story went on to describe the close relationship between Olympus
Europe and the Research Unit and how cameras from OM2's through to
OM4Ti's had been supplied to the Research Units for their various
activities.

A second article in the forum covers the President of Magnum photo
agency Chris Steele-Perkins who lists among his personal cameras , the
OM2 AND OM4Ti. The article and accompanying photos cover the
photographer's trip to the Sudan during the 1991 civil war. Once again
the photographer travelled with multiple OM bodies (three OM2). There
was a good deal of coverage given to the features of the OM2 and OM4Ti
in the article.

The closing section of the Chris Steele-Perkins article goes on to say
that his creative work was the centerpiece of a recent Olympus UK
campaign for the OM-4Ti that ran in the style press and camera
magazines!!!! Were talking about 1997 here, anyone recall such a thing?

Anyway, the Interview with Olympus President Masatoshi Kishimoto
covering goals and targets for Olympus group focus mainly on digital
products and medical equimpment, and the rest of the publication
featured these products prominently.
