I had been telling myself that this thread is too trivial, but I had a
change of plan this afternoon so I decided to make a hunt for my Japanese
coins. I couldn't remember where I had packed them. After a few false
leads, I finally discovered my collection (?) (I should have done this
prior to our Mid-Atlantic Oly Fest last Saturday).
I tried my 100 yen coin on the battery covers of all three of my OM bodies.
The 100 yen fits best into the groove and gives the largest torque.
However, the other coins work just as well since the opening does not
require too much of force anyway. I decided on a 50 yen coin to use
because the 50 and 5 yen coins have a hole in the center, and so I don't
have to drill a new hole.
