Speaking of convertors, has anyone used the IS-1 lens convertors? There
are two, one of which is 0.8x, which gives it a 28mm wide angle, and the
other is a 1.5x, giving it a 200mm telephoto. I'm most interested in
the 0.8x. How is the quality on it? Does it reduce the f-stop to
anything lower then 4.5? Is it sharp?

Also, has anyone used the G40 flash? Is it useable on manual SLRs as
well? I'm interested in some of its features, but don't want to spend
the money on it if its only usable with the IS series cameras (since the
built-in flash is fine 900f the time).

thanks,
alex
