Good ol' barrel distortion, I b'lieve.  I own a MC Zuiko 28mm 2.0, and it
has almost zero noticeable barrel distortion (some published figures claim
it's around 0.17%, which is supposed to be excellent).

As above, the only one I'm *personally* familiar with is the 28/2.0.  I'm
surprised that such a moderate wide-angle as a 35 (esp. a "Zweek"!) would
have noticeable barrel distortion in it.  This, by the way Shawn, is another
reason why living in Edmonton could be A Good Thing: I'd let you borrow my
28!  ;-)
