When printing B&W negatives from one of my trusty OM's*, I use the following
table as a guide

       Contrast Grade              Yellow           Magenta
               1                             50                   0
              1.5                           10                  10
               2                              0                   0
              2.5                            5                   40
               3                              5                   50
             3.5                            15                 140
              4                              40                 200

Your mileage may vary.
