Ulf,
I also have the T*k*n* matched 2x teleconverter for the 300mm. It tends to
soften the focus a little and reduces the contrast a little too much. When
shooting B&W I can compensate in the development, but with color anything,
the contrast is just gone :(. I have never had the pleasure of comparing it
to the Zuiko f4.5, so I don't know.
My version of this lens has been discontinued, but I am 99ure its
successor is available in a manual focus OM mount from B&H Photo Video in
New York. Check out http://www.bhphotovideo/com . Price is $USD 1895.
