Many of you with long memories will be thrilled to know that I have
received (at last) a reply from the UK Olympus Club relating to supplying
Vision Age magazines to overseas/non-members.
Actually it is a copy of a generic letter dated 18th. December 1997(!), but
to summarise:
- the club has good supplies of Vision Age 1-19 (ie the full set) available
at 1.5 UKP each.
- they are happy to supply to non-members.
- they are looking into the cheapest way to send abroad (since 18th.
December???).
- they will supply a set, with a complimentary copy of the UK Olympus Club
magazine, to anyone who wants them.
- they are about (but don't get too excited yet) to set up a web site for
the UK Olympus Club and magazine.
To summarise, it would seem best if anyone wishing to obtain a set of
Vision Age contact the club direct, by fax, telephone or snail mail (they
do not have an e-mail address yet). They can accept credit cards. Those of
you in the US may wish to club together to save postage (which they haven't
worked out yet!).
