Second thoughts on my previous post:
If your shutter speed is fixed at the fast end due to top sync speed and at
the slow end by not wanting to blur your pics (dictating 1/60 or 1/30), then
your exposure will have to be determined by the f stop. Then if you set the f
stop, it has to be in the auto range of the T32 or T20. If the exposure
dictates 1/60 @f11 (a good open shade exposure for ISO 100 film), then the
Olympus T flash would be, for example, f5.6. Going to the Olympus T32 at ISO
100, you only have a choice of f4, f5.6 or f8 so this would work fine and you
would set you T32 on auto at f5.6.

However, if the original manual exposure dictates an aperature out of the
range of the T32, then this procedure would not work. So if you used a slow
film speed indoors, eg. 1/60 @f4, you couldn't set your T32 to auto at f2.
The flash simply cannot quench itself fast enought. Therefore, for darker
situations you would have to use faster film. (Does this make sense to
anyone??--I'm not sure of this myself)

Conversely, in bright daylight, ISO 100 film would indicate a nominal exposure
of 1/125 @ f16 or 1/60 @f22. But there is no f11 setting on the T32 which
would force you to use an ISO 25 or 50 film.
