Garth,

I think this is the most "doable" method we may have to actually create
something.  I for one would be willing to contribute dollars to register the
domain name and can assist in html work.  Sorry, my scanning capabilities
are next to none and I'm too busy spending all the $$$'s on telescope,
darkroom and Olympus stuff <g>.

We could actually carry this another step without a lot of strain.  Many of
the contributers to this list also maintain web pages of their own.  Cross
linking is very easy to do - its the soul of how the web works.  With a well
designed template, we could fairly easily retain the "look and feel" and
members could update their links as they wished.

Your point about copywrite is valid.  Be assured, images posted on the Oly
list web site would be scarfed up for all kinds of uses - authorisized or
not.  I guess if you have an image you expect to generate revenue with, the
best advise is either do not post it to the page or accept the fact that it
will be used sans compensation somewhere.
