If you are making a text file after scanning and reading through OCR, I
think there will not be a problem with distribution through the list. If
you are including graphics, however, it would be better to send it to
someone with FTP capabilities so that those interested can access at
leisure. I have my own anonymous FTP directory and so does Shawn Wright.
I can receive a file and upload to my directory.
IMHO, sending any graphic files through the list is not a good idea. I
think that those receiving the digest won't be able to receive any graphic
file attachments.
