Hi all:
I must admit that I'm pretty amused by all the recent discussions on
different button cells. Has it occurred to anyone that we've spent more
time discussing batteries than we'll ever gain from that knowledge?
What I mean is, whether you use SR44's or 357's, the difference in
lifetime is not likely to be enough to justify all the "research" people
have done on the differences. It's all been covered before, and is in
the FAQ. It sorta reminds me of the big campaign to track down how many
versions of the 50/1.8 lens there are. I suggest that those with their
noses burried in battery spec manuals put them down, make no sudden moves,
walk slowly to their cameras, and proceed to take a few rolls of film
(assuming your batteries are still good :).

Cheers,
--Lee, who is off to Aruba for the solar eclipse.
(and who is no longer worried about batteries, thanks to the fine
citizens of Washington, DC, who decided to relieve him of his OM4, thus
preventing him from worrying about such trivial matters).

isn't all that bad" --- Mayor (and proud crack smoker) Marion Barry of
