Hi Gary,
I'm basing the need for a warming filter on the recommendations of John Shaw
and other nature photographers. You bring up a really good point though.
Since Shaw shoots only transparency film the results from the filter will be
obvious. I'm at this time shooting negative film and the results will
probably never show up either way due to variations in processing. I've shot
transparencies in the past, but since my need now is for prints, negative
film seems like the way to go. After digesting your points, seems like maybe
the whole idea is a waste of time. I'll have to give it some more thought.
