Recently I acquired a Dutch OM-system brochure with printing date
4/85. To my surprise it actually mentioned the 'Zuiko Zoom
3,5-4,5/28-85mm. But without a picture, just like the
5,0/50-250mm. The brochure showed all the other Zuiko's (if I'm
correct), except the 50 and 90mm F2,0.
So it seems to me the 28-85 was developed as an OM-lens.
I guess they must have been pretty desperate at Olympus
headquarters in trying to get along with Minolta's AF.
