625, or 625A?  The "A" series has no mercury chemistry in it, and produces
1.5V, rather than 1.35v.  I couldn't find any more mention of the 625 on
Duracell's web site.

The Olympus FAQ states that Olympus Corp. has told people that using the
1.5v replacements is "not a good idea."  Either the meter reads wonky, or
the meter movement can burn out.

Seems like mercury or the MR-9 adapter from http://www.criscam.com are the
only two solutions.  As it stands, I'm sending out some mercury cells to
one of the denizens of this list, who asked me in private e-mail.  I don't
mind doing this for anyone else who has problems sourcing these cells (mind
you, our retailers in town only *have* so many of these in stock at any one
time...)
