Hello Olympians,

at last weekends camera show I´ve seen a Tamron SP 2,8 80-200mm LD lens.
It was prety used, but the smooth mechanics and high quality all metal
finish made a good apperance to me. It´s nearly double as long and heavy
as the 2,8 180mm Zuiko.
The actual Tamron SP 2,8 70-210mm LD is tested opticaly as a below
average lens.
Is the optical quality of the old 2,8 80-200mm better and therefore a
good replacement for the 2,8 180mm Zuiko?

I´ve seen once the Tamron SP 2,5 180mm LD at an camera show, the asking
price then was higher than the price of a new 2,8 180mm Zuiko!
