That't just what I thought and now we have confirmation. I seem to recall
that we did get to this point a year or two ago but everyone got really
bored by the whole exercise so I gave it up....
I think that there are probably two kinds of F.ZUIKO black front ring as
well, one MC and the other non-MC.
To be honest, it is the earlier lenses which are currently of more interest
to me - if you have a silver ring non-MC lens or see one for sale please
let me know.
Always thought that the information would be useful to have in the FAQ,
particularly for people buying lenses/cameras by mail order etc. When I
finally get some time I will put a few pages together which contain this
and other photographic sniplets of information which may be useful. That
way no one can complain about this sort of train spotting activity on the
list ;-) Pass me my pencil here comes another one................
