I have a quite new Zuiko 300/4.5 which is marked solely Zuiko, although
it is multicoated. Very early nonmulticoted 300/4.5:s were called F
Zuiko, then
came the multicoated version marked MC without the "F", to separate it
from the
nonmulticoated version. In the late 80s (?) MC was left out from all
lenses. Some
lenses that have been multicoated from the beginning of production,
for example the 28/2.0, were marked MC already in the early 70s.
