>From what I recall if you leave the aperture wide open in program mode, the
camera selects optimum aperture in the range from wide open to eg f32.  If
you close it down all the way, then you only use the smallest aperture in
program mode.  In this way you can control the aperture range used by the
camera. As for shutter speed control, can't remember off hand.  I don't use
this mode on mine!


The shutter sound on the OM2S is the sexiest of the lot - I have ranted
about this before.  It is definitely no louder than any of the other OM
models.

The gren LED flash indicator usually takes power from the camera batteries :-(
John H. may be able to sort this out for you.  If not, just make sure you
turn the falsh off between shots...

Bargain price - in a shop this set up would cost you around $400.  New
circuit boards are no longer available from Olympus for the OM2S - some did
suffer from excessive current drain - see the OM FAQ:
