First my thanks to everyone on the list for providing very interesting
reading material, alarm systems to economics, not to mention learning a
bucket load about OM's. ;-)
Second, for quite some time now ( > 15 years) I've come to accept my OM-2N
and winder 2's stuttering problem. Occasionally the winder fires multiple
shots (despite being in single frame mode) or makes the shot, then half
winds and then stops. Sometimes in multiple frame mode it continues to fire
even after letting go of the button on the winder. I had chalked it up a
well worn winder 2 until just recently when I experienced the same problem
with another one. I do not know if either of these winders "stutters" on
another body -- maybe something's wrong with mine.
The camera has never seen a repair shop, but from my recollection it has
always behaved this way.
Any ideas?
