Olympus Group:
My OM-1 is in pretty good shape except that the self-timer is broken. I
really don't need it although I sometimes have liked to use it instead of
the mirror lockup. Does anyone have any experience having such a repair
done? Is it apt to be repairable without the availability of new parts? I
realize the only way I'll know for sure is to have it looked at, but I'd be
interested in hearing of any success others may have had with such a repair,
or even whether it is worth the bother to pursue.
