Well,you're on the right track.you're having a power problem.Usually,
changing the batteries does the trick.(I got my OM4 w/50 1.4 lens and winder
two from a pawn shop for $100 for this reason.Took it home,put batteries in
it,and it's been fine ever since :))
You mentioned something about cold.If that's where you're using it (in
the cold) THAT's your problem.Scroll up a few emails and you'll see someone
talking about a remote battery pack.I haven't actually seen one,but assume
its a cord that attaches to your battery connection with a holder for your
two sr44's (btw,Omtech says 357's work best-look him up on the net at
Omtech).
The only other thing I can tell you is stay away from the
alkalines..VERY
short battery life.
