Hi Lee,
This should be easy assuming you have a voltmeter. Insert a plug into
the jack, cliplead the voltmeter to the leads, and fire the shutter. If
the voltage stays close to where it was then it's an external power jack.
If the voltages spikes quickly to zero, then it's an external/parallel
shutter control just like the one on the Winder 2.
Watch the +/- leads if your using an old analog meter :)
