Hi Gang,

Well normally I just lurk but I can't resist this.  Recently I bought a 35-105 
zoom without the lenshood.  Realising that stuffing around with non olympus 
lenses hoods was fraught with stumbling blocks I rang one of the shops here in 
Melbourne only to be shocked that the approriate lense hood was $55.00 aus. And 
after ringing the supplier the waiting period was 8 weeks.  So I checked out 
the 2nd hand shops and found one for $10 aonly to find another at a swapmeet 
for $3.  (The Australian dollar is about 66 us cents at the moment)  Now if I 
could only find a 2nd hand OM4ti - they are about $2,400 Aus  at the moment 
before the forth coming 200rice rise.  A bit hard to justify when I have a 1n 
2n 2sp and 10.

On a related note one of our camera mechanics in Melbourne recommends going for 
1s and 10s as repairs are quite easy according to him.

Anyway thanks for all the info I've gained from here in the past
