In Italy we say "mercato delle pulci" that is literally "flea market";
maybe "Porta Portese" on Sundays in Rome may belong to this
category... but it is most an institutional market held by
professional sellers... how is defined this in English? I am told of
Portobello, Camdentown and New Caledonian markets in London that
should be very similar to Porta Portese, I guess bigger than it.
