Ulf, is yours a Spiratone binocular adapter or what? I would like to have such 
an item for my 300/4.5 as well. There was one (no brand) for 195 SEK (about 
$25) at Scandinavian Photo ( 
http://www.scandinavianphoto.se/Begagnat/begoly.htm ) just the other day. I 
immediately send them a mail that I wanted it, but heard nothing. After a 
couple of days I phoned them and it was gone. It turned out that the mail 
program at their web site had crashed.

P.S. Do you think such an adapter could work also with my Sigma 600/8 mirror 
lens? I guess one would need a tripod though...
