There's a similar situation here in Western Canada.  Although there are
lots of local processing labs (including some "pro" ones), when I really
have something I want done ABSOLUTELY RIGHT, I ship it off to Winnipeg
Photo in Manitoba, Canada (two provinces away).  They can make stuff shot
with amateur film and cameras look like a pro did it -- and when a pro uses
their services, watch out! -- colours that reach out from the photos and
*spank* you.  ;-)
