Thanks for  your reply,  at this stage I have lost confidence with this tech and
his ability to debug the faults on both the 2n and OM4. the OM4 I acquired came
with a 6mths guarantee so I am not too worried about that,..it fails to control
the flash by TTL means only manual firing like the OM10 ,but I have given him
some  pointers on that.As for the OM2 ,He did fit 2 other circuits he had in
stock but the fault remained .I will take your advice and have a go myself.
