I would think so, too.

I have always loved my 35-70/3.5-4.5 and it continues to be one of my
favorite lenses in all kinds of situations where flexibility is needed. The
75-150 I recently acquired has given me excellent results the few times I
had the chance to use it so far - sharp as a tick, and very good contrast.
Of course, thanks to this group, I knew that this particular lens model is
prone to separation, as well as how to identify the problem (thanks John!),
and checked mine very carefully to make sure it didn't suffer from it before
I bought it. By the way, are there any suggestions on special care it might
need in order to prevent it from developing the problem in the future?
I haven't used my 50/1.4 (SC) too much so far (mainly for available light
shooting at a couple of weddings), but I really can't complain about the
quality of the relatively few shots taken with it - even at the risk of
contradicting some of the pros here ( :-) )I think that as long as you use a
shade this lens is good for excellent photos.
