I aim my answers at people who INSIST on doing things themselves. I don't 
recommend
trying these things at home, but if someones gonna learn that, let them try and
know better later.
I've cleaned  thousands of mirrors this way, spanning 22 years, without a 
mishap.
I guess I must be doing something right.
