Paul,

metz flashes also support the OM TTL system and if I am not mistaken it is with
the same module systemas that of the Quantum flash, namely the SCA system. used
in conjunction with the OM 2 and 4T it works fine in TTL non-super FP, but I
have had trouble using a mixture of flashes, meaning, metz flash and olympus
flash in TTL mode together with one camera controlling them. i don't know what
the problem is but i was afraid of damaging the circuit on my cameras, I am
still able to use them in manual mode together but not in TTL. I have two metz
mz40-2's which work beautifully with cordless TTL. i just can't use them
together with my T-32 in TTL. I use the metz with another camera system, that
is why I still use them. The main difference with the quantum flash is that it
does not use a bare bulb but it seems, I was reading the Quantum site, they seem
to have the same modes, stobe, several auto modes, TTL mode(with appropriate
module) cordless TTL, manual with decrements up to 1/64.

I am less familiar with the Sunpak and Vivitar systems and i know they also have
dedicated modules but I'm unsure if they support the OM system. Sunpak I think
uses a different type of module system(different from the SCA system). But they
also have a bare bulb flash.

I hope this helps.
