Richard, Rand, David and others.

I have done some extreme mag photography with those macro lenses as
well. On the bellows the 20mm goes to 16x magnification. And yes, I
have a Gossen cold light source (halogen light and built-in flash with
three flexible fiber guides) which is very useful indeed when the
subject-to-lens distance gets very small.
I also use it when taking pictures through my stereo-microscope.

This Gossen unit is the one that I want to enhance by giving it TTL
capability.
I haven't decided yet how to perform, but I have two options. Either I
can try to connect the built-in flashtube to the Olympus macro flash
power source, or I can take an old T32 apart, mount the bare flashtube
in the Gossen, next to the original one, and keep the rest of the T-32
elsewhere to connect to the camera. I think I will choose the last
option - because in that case I am sure that flashtube and electronics
perfectly match.

Frank.
