This might be a problem of exposure. All super wide angle tend to
produce images with darker corners, the 18mm Zuiko has 2,6 stops darker
edges at f/3,5. This effect is most noticeable with slide film
photographing uniform colored objects with even ilumination and a
slightly underexposure.
So it´s possible, that your new camera gaves you shorter exposures and
you choosed some photographic objects, which emphasized the light fall
off effect.
