Hi Paul,
That item is listed on the Oly spare parts list and I successfully
ordered one last year through my local Oly distributor (they told me it
was the last one on their shelves).
Other alternatives would be third party manufacturers like SRB (sp?) in
your neck of the woods, or Kirk enterprises in the states, or you could
brew your own - e.g block of wood machined to cradle your lens with a
suitable thread inserted underneath for your tripod and a padded hose
clamp to bring it all together.
Finally, I have hand held the 300 with pleasing results when Fuji Super
G+ 800 print film was loaded
