I always let the film come to room temperature _in_ the container.  This
minimizes the possibility of condensation forming on the film surface while it
is warming up.

just remember to take the film out of refrigeration for
30 minutes and let it sit outside its container. This will reduce
possibilities of condensation in your camera.
