I would suspect the compensation is subject related. Many macro flash
subjects need some form of compensation with any TTL flash system. Any
metering system can be fooled, and this situation is one where the metering
is very easily fooled. I never had a problem with my OM-2S either. I am
beginning to suspect the OM-4(T) problem may be due to a fault with the
particular camera, and that it may not be an isolated incident.
