The amount of kerosene used was so slight that by the next day or so
you couldn't tell that it had been applied, except that all the
smudges and finger prints were gone. The rag applied just a slight
bit more than what a greasy finger would apply. I never saw any
residue.
To be fair, though, I must say that the cameras we built weren't up
to Olympus standards!
