On 35-80 2.8, do you have any vignetting with a BW polarizing filter at
35mm?
No needs for a thin polarizing filter?

What is your shade model : Olympus designed for 35-80 clip on or another ring
 shade?
Any problem with those tools on 35-80 2.8?

Hello Alain,

I have had no problems with vignetting with a polarizer (Tiffen) on the end of
my 35-80.

Prior to paying the big bucks for the official Olympus flower-shaped hood, I
used an adjustable rubber hood that screwed into the filter mount. Since it
did act as another filter, vignetting was more of a problem. Absolutely no
problem with the Olympus bayonet hood.

Hope this helps,
