Some photographer at the RAF (Britsh not German ;-) ) use(d?) OMs too. 
There is one photo in the book "Olympus Fotoschule", taken by David
Higgs from the backseat of an "Red Arrows" Hawk jet trainer with an back
looking 16mm fisheye on an motorized OM.
It shows the leading plane and the folowing planes darting into the sky
on the background of the airfield. The OM mirrors themself into the
sunglases of the copilot.

So the circle has closed. Japanes camera industry started as an
strategical important industry, in the begin of the century, to replace
the Britsh fire guidance optics on Japanese battleships.
