Apologies if my "sour grapes" comment was insulting to you, but I do
think that even after reading your original note, it was definitely
ambiguous at best. It starts off fine, but that closing line was open
to interpretation as sarcasm. Then I had to consider that if it was
indeed a sarcastic comment (which obviously it wasn't), it was in very
bad taste to post such a pointed story on the list.
No harm done, I'm sure, but as I have come foul of misinterpreted
emails myself in the past, I am glad that the Olympus list allows
people to set the record straight easily - sending mails to your boss,
as in my case, which would have been quite amusing said with a smile
on your face can prove to be a double edged sword to say the least.
