I have the Sigma 600/8 mirror lens (probably an early version). Anyone who
knows how it is rated in comparison to the Zuiko 500/8? Mirror lenses may have
their drawbacks, but I know I´ve taken pictures with this lens that would have
been impossible with my 300/4.5. How can you shoot handheld at 600 mm without
going to mirror lenses? My reason for buying the Sigma lens instead of the
Zuiko 500/8 (so far my only betrayal) was of course the money and the extra 100
mm.
