[OM] Camera failures at weddings

With all this talk of cameras and weddings, I should contribute
my tale at my brother-in-law's wedding. I was not the main
photographer, being family, I was busy taking the "candid" family
shots that the official photographer does not have time (or the
interest) to take. I was using my trusty OM-1.

During the middle of the ceremony, when flash is not permitted,
I tried to take several shots of the couple at the altar (being
seated on the second row gave me a clear view) -- and the slow
speed gear train gave way. That was the end of the photo session
for me, since I didn't bring a backup camera, and most of the
activities after that were indoors.

I have since repaired that camera and I have taken it all over
China with no problems. I wonder what it is that caused cameras
to fail at weddings :-).
