Hi Winsor,

I don't mean to be argumentative or contrary, but I'm very puzzled by the
different experience you have had with the 2-13 screen as opposed to myself
and others on the list. Several acquaintances off the list have also found
it to be much brighter than the 1-13. It must be an individual eyesight
thing. My eyes are somewhat on the old side, being attached to my somewhat
old body. I know as I've gotten older, my eyes have become much less
sensitive to light. Used to be that I wasn't as cognizant of minor changes
in brightness, but now minor changes make a big difference in my ability to
focus. I don't know your age, but if you have young eyes, it could be one of
the reasons you don't notice the increased brightness in the 2-13 screen. Or
perhaps you're just blessed.
