I have a genuine Zuiko hood for the 18mm, it's almost flat (as it needs to
be for the angle of view), so doesn't provide a lot of protection, however
the front of the hood has a 72mm thread for attaching filters, this seems to
be it's most useful attribute. I am not sure if the hood is still
available, I know mine had to be ordered from Japan when I purchased it many
years ago.
