That sort of experience is the kind of thing that could form the basis
of a useful checklist to run through on new/used equipment.  I'm sure we
all run test films through new purchases, especially used items, but I
would never have considered shooting with a strong light source directed
into the viewfinder of a 4 or 4T - although its almost certain to happen
sooner or later.  That's the purpose of a test film, so its something I
will add to my list of tests now.

I wonder how many other OM-4T's were manufactured with that defect - and
how many of them are now owned by people on the list?
