John,
        Thanks for the good information. I know that this OM-4 has had the same
set of batteries for better than six months and they are still going
strong. So, if I put a meter in line with the battery and measure current
drain, I should wait until the meter circuit times off and then note the
drain? What could I expect in the way of differences between a 4 and 4t?
