gary,

i just want to clear this, prefogging with transparencies will improve the 
shadow
detail ans not the highlight detail on slide film? i use prefogging with b&w
printing all the time and this is to improve the hightlight detail. i just can't
understand how the prefogging with slides will improve the shadow detail, i 
would
think that it would also improve the highlight detail.
