Incredible! A few months ago, I sold my last surplus copy to one of
the OLY list frequent contributors for what now seems like a super
bargain price of US$25. Clearly, I grossly underestimated the book's
market value.
I hope Olympus doesn't take this eBay auction to its "corporate heart".
I'm affraid they may conclude that their next new OM system product
should be ...er, a new handbook?
Btw, for those on the list with an appetite for this invaluable piece
of OLY "poetry in spec. sheets", there is another copy of the "Olympus
OM System Lens Handbook" now running on eBay. The URL is:

and the current bid is at US$20.50 + shipping. This auction is to
expire in 10 hours. Judging from the photo attached to the auction
page, the kitchen sink is included :-)
Btw, lest there is any doubt -- I have absolutely nothing to do with
the above eBay listing, or the one Gary R. had mentioned in his post.
A final comment: Once the going price for these books reaches $100,
I'll be selling my own copy. Heck, I'll even seriously consider a
firm offer of $95. Any takers? Trade offers for actual OM/Zuiko
photogear are most welcome. :-)
