You reminded me of the black flies I'll be swatting at on Cape Cod beaches in a
month or so. Did I ever mention the dream I had once? Aliens landed, they
looked exactly like us. They said their planet was exactly like ours. Except,
they wanted to know what were these tiny little flying, crawling, squirming,
biting little creatures here on Earth? Bugs, insects, invaders of paradise I
said. They didn't have bugs where they came from and they warped back home,
never to return to what they decided was Hell. True dream. The idea of an
Earth (or even just one summer!) w/o the little buggers appeals to me!
